Hallgrim Capital is a brand operated by Hallgrim Advisors LLC ("Hallgrim," "we," "us," or "our"). Hallgrim Advisors LLC does business as ("d/b/a") Hallgrim Capital, and we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit hallgrimcapital.com (the "Site"), request a consultation, apply for financing, download a resource, or otherwise communicate with us - and what we do with that information.
By using this Site or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or provide information to us.

Information you provide directly
When you fill out a form, request a consultation, apply for financing, download a resource, schedule a call, or email us, we may collect:
- Name, business name, and job title
- Email address and phone number
- Mailing address and physical business location
- Details about your business, operations, ownership, and revenue
- Financial information you provide to support a financing request - such as business and personal financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, debt schedules, and information about your assets and liabilities
- Any other information you choose to share with us in correspondence
You do not have to provide this information, but some of it is necessary for us to evaluate a financing request or provide advisory services.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, links clicked, time on site, and referring URL
- Cookie identifiers and similar tracking data (see Section 5)
Information from third parties
If you apply for financing or engage our advisory services, we may receive information about you from consumer and business credit reporting agencies, lenders and funding partners, public records, and other sources commonly used to evaluate creditworthiness and structure financing. Where required, we will obtain your authorization before requesting a credit report.
03 How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request
- Evaluate financing requests, prepare and package applications, and present them to lenders and funding partners on your behalf
- Provide business financing, insurance, and advisory services
- Communicate with you about your account, applications, and engagements
- Send you newsletters, educational content, and marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time)
- Improve our Site, content, and services
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud, security incidents, and other harmful activity
We will not use your information for purposes that are materially different from those listed here without notifying you and, where required, obtaining your consent.
04 How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Lenders and funding partners - to evaluate, structure, and place financing on your behalf. Sharing your application and supporting financial information with these partners is core to what we do as a lending advisor. We share this information to pursue financing you have asked us to help you obtain.
- Credit reporting agencies - to obtain business and, where authorized, personal credit information used to evaluate a financing request.
- Service providers - companies that help us operate our business, such as our website host, email service provider, CRM, calendar/scheduling tool, document storage, and analytics provider. These providers are contractually limited to using your information only on our behalf.
- Legal and regulatory recipients - when required by law, subpoena, court order, government investigation, or to comply with our regulatory and licensing obligations.
- Professional advisors - our lawyers, accountants, auditors, and consultants, under confidentiality obligations.
- In a business transaction - if Hallgrim is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
05 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure performance, and understand how visitors use the Site. The categories we use include:
- Strictly necessary - required for the Site to function
- Analytics - to understand site usage (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Marketing - only if and when we begin using marketing tracking; we will update this section accordingly
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking some types of cookies may impact your experience of the Site. We currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, as there is no industry standard for how to interpret them.
06 Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including the sensitive financial information involved in a financing request. This includes SSL encryption for data transmitted through the Site, access controls, and secure storage with our service providers.
That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you transmit information to us at your own risk. If we ever experience a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
07 Data Retention
We retain personal and financial information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain records of financing engagements, comply with legal and regulatory obligations (which may require record retention for several years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When we no longer need your information, we will delete it or anonymize it in a secure manner.
08 Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal and regulatory exceptions)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information)
- Submit a complaint about how we handle your information

09 California Residents

Note that some information we handle as part of a financing engagement is subject to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and may be exempt from certain CCPA provisions.

In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2, including identifiers, commercial and financial information, internet activity information, and professional/employment information.
Categories of sources
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your interaction with the Site, and from third parties (such as credit reporting agencies, lenders, and public records) as described in Section 2.

We use information for the business purposes described in Section 3.
Sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10 Financial Information (GLBA)
When we help you obtain financing, we collect and handle nonpublic personal financial information ("NPI"). To the extent our services are subject to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state financial privacy regulations, we handle that information in accordance with those requirements.
We collect NPI only as necessary to evaluate, structure, and place financing and to provide our advisory services. We do not disclose NPI to nonaffiliated third parties except as permitted or required by law - for example, to lenders and funding partners to pursue financing you have requested, to credit reporting agencies, to comply with regulatory requirements, or to respond to a subpoena.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect NPI in accordance with applicable law.
11 Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are intended for business owners and decision-makers, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
12 Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites - for example, lender portals, scheduling tools, or industry resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example, by posting a notice on the Site or, for material changes affecting you, by email).
